Transcripts for Admitted Students

COVID-19 Update: With the campus closure, there is no option to drop off official documents in person. Our office has begun processing mail that was sent after the campus closure in March. We will continue to process it weekly until the campus reopens. Documents sent directly to the graduate program will not be processed until we receive the official hard copy and envelope from the program.

Students admitted provisionally, are required to provide official transcripts, proof of degrees awarded, or official test scores. Our office has placed a registration hold to provide the necessary documents and finalize your admission. It is your responsibility alone to clear all registration holds. Delays to your enrollment will impact the disbursement of fellowship funding if awarded. Visit the UCR Registrars' Academic Calendar to stay informed on upcoming enrollment dates.

If information regarding any institutions listed on your application changes, you must notify our office immediately. Contact us on updates related to dates of attendance for any institution currently enrolled and awarding of degrees. All new students are required to submit official proof of an awarded bachelor's degree or equivalent. The award date of that degree must occur before the first day of your first quarter. The first day of the Fall 2020, is September 28, 2020.

Final, official transcripts or proof of a degree awarded must contain:

  • Completion of all required coursework to be awarded the degree
  • Degree earned and date the degree was conferred
  • Official wet ink stamp, seal, and/or embossed marking from the institution on each document provided
  • Original language documents must be accompanied with an official English translation, if your institution provides this service

Do not order final, official transcripts until your final grades and any degree awarded have posted.
