Transcripts for Admitted Students

Transcripts for Admitted Students

All new students are required to submit official proof of an awarded bachelor's degree or equivalent. The award date of your degree must occur before the first day of your first quarter. The first day of the Fall 2025 quarter is September 22, 2025.

Incoming students are required to provide official transcripts, proof of degree(s) awarded, and official test scores. As an incoming student, you can register for your first quarter during your initial registration period. However, our office will place a registration hold preventing any future registration if your official academic records and test scores are not received by our posted deadline.  Please check your admissions portal for more information.

Delays to your enrollment can impact multiple student services, including the release of fellowship funding. Visit the UCR Registrars' Academic Calendar to stay informed on upcoming enrollment dates.

You must notify our office immediately to report any changes to your dates of attendance (i.e delayed graduation) or awarding of degree.

Official transcripts or proof of a degree awarded must contain:

  • Completion of all required coursework for the award of the degree

  • Degree earned and date the degree was conferred

  • Official wet ink stamp, seal, and/or embossed marking from the institution on each page of the document(s) provided.

Additional requirements for international records:

  • Certified English translations not prepared by the institution, must include:

  • An exact word-for-word translation of the original language document and a photocopy of the original language document used for the translation.

  • Official wet ink stamp, seal, and/or embossed marking from translator on each document provided.

  • Sealed in translator's official envelope signed and stamped across the envelope flap by the translator.

Do not order final, official transcripts until your final grades and any degree awarded have been posted.

Any documents submitted to UC Riverside deemed to be false or altered could lead to the cancellation of your application and/or withdrawal of your offer of admission, up to and including dismissal from your graduate program.
