PhD Students: PhD Notice of Intent to Participate in Commencement

Required for all PhD students who wish to walk in the commencement ceremony and plan to graduate Spring or Summer 2018.  If you don't wish to walk in the ceremony, this form is not required to graduate.  If you graduated in Fall 2017 or will graduate in Winter 2018, this form is not required and you can skip to step 3.

Master's Students: Master's Application for Candidacy - for Spring and Summer 2018

Required for all master's students, or PhD students who wish to receive the master's degree, in Spring or Summer 2018. Students who wish to walk in the commencement ceremony must submit the application for candidacy by this deadline.  If you graduated in Fall 2017 or will graduate in Winter 2018, this form has already been submitted and you do not need to submit it again.

STEP 2. Submit the Online Graduation Application (R'Web) - deadline April 23, 2018.

In order for the degree to be conferred, all students must file a grad app on R'Web by the Monday of week 4 of the quarter they wish to graduate.  The spring 2018 deadline for grad apps is April 23, 2018, but it is preferred that students file the R'Web grad app ASAP.  Check the Graduation Procedures site for other grad app deadlines.

STEP 3. Confirm your participation and order your tickets - April 12-May 7, 2018.

All students who wish to participate in the commencement ceremony must confirm their participation by responding to a specialized email from the Commencement Office during the time period of April 12-May 7, 2018. Students will only be able to log on if they are eligible. Eligibility is determined by the Graduate Division.
